The HR and Payroll Administrator's duties involve a wide range of support activities for all facilities, from benefits, payroll, daily attendance and time clock monitoring to setting up new hires and terminating other.
An important part of this is organization, communication, meeting deadlines, setting up all facilities benefits during open enrollment time and will be to act as the liaison between HR and the employees, ensuring smooth communication and excellent organization skills and confidentiality.
Familiarity of HR practices and payroll rules along with strong computer skills will make the ideal candidate successful in this position.
You should be able to work autonomously and communicate well with Management, supervisors and staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with day to day operations of the HR and Payroll functions and duties Provide and manage support to Human Resources Generalists at all facilities Compile and update employee records, hard and soft copies Deal with employee requests regarding HR issues Process bi-weekly payroll.
Process benefits for all employees Properly handle and communicate employee complaints in confidence Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
Process employee terminations.
Use Excel to reconcile Payroll and Benefit invoices Prepare bi-weekly payroll Journal entries for the controller Process and monitor workers comp issues Skills Proven experience as an HR and Benefits Administrator Computer skills (MS Office , Excel in particular) Basic knowledge of labor laws or willingness to learn through seminars Excellent organizational skills Strong communication skills Willingness to follow-up on open items as necessary Able to assist staff with payroll or benefit questions confidentially.
Assist with audits involving Human Resources and Benefits (401K and W/C in particular) Job Type:

$55,000.
