Job Description The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring a fresh and sanitized room for all guests.
Prepares each room assigned for the arrival of new guests in accordance with the hotels' service standards.
Role and Responsibilities Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all guestrooms and related areas.
Ensure that all housekeeping operations are carried out and maintained to high standards at all times.
Making up beds with fresh linen.
Dusting each piece of furniture inside and outside including lamps, shades, pictures, and doors.
Vacuuming and spot cleaning of carpets in rooms Cleaning by washing and drying of all areas in the bathroom.
Replacing all guest supplies in the room and bathroom.
Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room.
Check room for damaged furniture and equipment.
Report damage and missing items to your supervisor immediately.
Be friendly and responsive to guest needs.
Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
Monitor and control supplies/amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
Qualifications Friendly and hospitality-focused.
Attention to detail.
Teamwork Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, Attention to detail.
