Adecco currently has a direct-hire opening for an Electrical Machine Assembler located near Mentor, OH. Our client is an esteemed machine builder who makes complex machines and machine parts for new and refurbished equipment. As the Electrical Machine Assembler, you will be responsible for installing and connecting all electrical wiring on the machines. As the Electrical Machine Assembler, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Installation and connection of complex wiring systems on new and retrofit machinery

  • Careful and detailed interpretation of schematics, drawings and blueprints

  • Installing switches, safety devices, solenoids, lighting and panel boards on machinery

  • Test all electrical connections to ensure proper function

  • Travel as needed to field sites to perform electrical repairs (travel is approximately 25% of the time with some overnight stays)


  • HS diploma (or equivalent) required. Post educational degree or certification in electrical repair, electronics or similar strongly preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum of 3 years? experience working in a detailed electrical assembly or repair position (or similar)

  • Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical blueprints

  • Strong knowledge of shop math

  • Willingness to travel both foreign and domestic as needed (25% of the time)

Typical hours for this position are Monday - Friday, daylight hours (flexible start time). Overtime and weekend work will be required as necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
